Inspired by the humble family owned Tavernas & Kafenios of the traditional Greek villages, Kouzίna Byron Bay provides a place for the community to gather, feast, rejoice and relax in an authentic Greek village setting. Visiting Kouzίna Byron Bay will invoke a strong sense of home, belonging, connection and celebration, as everyone is welcomed by the same warm hospitality, aromas & flavours as that of a traditional Greek village kitchen.

“The vision behind Kouzίna Byron Bay is simply to spread the warm, welcoming hospitality that I only truly understood after my first visit to the ancestral homeland, Greece. Since then I have craved not only to immerse myself in the culture, language, cuisine and lifestyle but also now share it with as many as I can here in our hometown Byron Bay. One of the most profound things I observed during my time in Greece was how people are never segregated by age. Instead everyone, young or old is invited to the party. It occurred to me that it doesn’t matter what generation you are born, the thing that matters is that you are alive and life is worth celebrating. Celebration for Greeks is ultimately surrounded by food, music, dance and community. And so, this is what I hope to offer you at Kouzina Byron Bay.”
